Jetta shrugged. "Even saying that I doubt it would be as easy as just finding Yoko when he's alone and trying to kill him," she said. "Since Hel's life is linked to his, she's unlikely to leave him so unprotected. Anyway, how did the meeting with the tribes go?"

Flying over camp she had made mental contact with Siva and knew the outcome of their visit, but it seemed wise to steer Akaelin away from the subject of Yoko at the moment. From other information she had gotten from Siva, they hadn't seen Yoko in the camp so he must have come out here with Kitai on his own.

"It went fine," he muttered in response. Sure Sayne had to kick the crap out of some random warrior person and almost got himself killed by some giant ass scorpion ladies. But whatever. The falcon was alive and they had the tribes support. Akaelin hated the idea of having to work with so many different commanders. There was Jetta and Sets generals, and Sakari and Sai, and the Tribe person. He had already run himself into the ground previously trying to work something out with Sakari. Now on top of that he had to worry about finding a middle ground with other people as well. Awesome.

Jetta nodded. "It is always good to have more people, especially those who are used to frequent war as I understand the desert tribes are," she said. "I hope that you did not have to offer too much to gain their support. You obviously didn't run into trouble with the desert Aravos as all of you came back."

Feeling that her duty of reporting her presence was done, owl wings sprouted out of Jetta's back and she took to their air, heading for the camp.

He didn't say anything as Jetta spoke, not even glancing up into the sky as she flew away. Instead, he began to walk in the opposite direction of the camp, unrolling one of his sleeves and using it to soak up the blood that was still dripping. The constant, steady throb was becoming annoying. He continued to walk until he came to a little creek where he could kneel down and clean himself up a bit. He washed some of the blood away from his closed eye, only to have more blood slowly begin to ooze from the cut that ran over his eye. Not down the middle but slightly to the right. He knew he could always have Nathifa fix it, but he didn't feel like interacting with anyone right now. Not even his mate.

Kitai reached her tent and gently rested her hand on one of its poles, feeling the weight of the world crushing down upon her. All she had ever done was try to help her pack in the best way she could - to better the lives of others. Why then was all of this happening to her it seemed? The whole Rebellion was going through the war, but she was the only one who would have to face the almost certain death of her best friend and father of her children. The thought of having to watch the twins grow up without their father, to see his face in theirs every day, tore her heart into pieces.

Jetta touched down in the camp by the small representation of Society warriors that were traveling with the Rebellion. Glancing around the camp she saw Kitai by her tent, silently sobbing. With her own emotions still inhibited by her years of training, the Rank 1 warrior found it hard to directly empathize though she knew the logic behind the werewolf's emotions. She decided for herself that if Yoko were to show up again to see Kitai that she kill him unless necessary. She didn't want to be the one with that blood on her hands. Jetta watched Quill saunter into camp on the back of her hellcat, dragging a couple deer in tow. The two had seemed to be returning from a hunting trip. After cutting the deer loose from Leartes's saddle the wiger crossed the camp to take her twin in her arms, simply comforting her.

PostSubject: Jessani comes out.   Tue Dec 14, 2010 7:25 am

Jessani was in his fox form. His lime green fur and the scent of sap on the trees made it difficult for even a properly trained hound to track him. No hound would know his scent anyway, for he would never set foot in the man-made world for even a decent piece of meat. As allof as he was to the present-day world, his insticts did all the work for him. His unique sense of smell and ears as sharp as daggers, both literally and figuratively, helped him make his way around the dense forest for which he had domesticated himself for decent time. Every once in a while, Jessani would frown at the smell of pollution in the air and run in the opposite direction; a suddle growl of frustration dragging along with him. The man-made world had been mentally torturing him for years, sometimes even putting him through his Vieras, which seldomly puts him on a rampage. He has grown fond of his emotions, though, saving them for when he is around a decent sized pond so he would do more splashing than slaughtering trees.

Idol to his thoughts, Jessani's instinct led him to one of many human camps he has run into. Normally he would run away in disgust, but this camp was rather particular. Most humans camp to go hunting and eat animals by boiling their meat and serving them on a platter with vegetables and seasoning. Just the thought made his sharp little nose curl up. But these humans seemed more helpless. He saw one resting her hand on a pole by her tent with a look on her face that, to him, signified a broken heart. His head tilted slightly with curiosity as he drew nearer, but carefully shuffled back as the sound of an owl taking off startled him. His ears were down in his reservedness as he quietly reared behind a nearby tree to rest his tired legs.
