Who Ordered Pizza?

"Well who ordered pizza?" Hel cooed as her younger brother phased up through the floor with his new Rider. "I could sure go for a slice." Fenris rolled his eyes as he nudged Kamiras heart with his paw. "Just shut up and help me with this." Hels smile widened as the tips of her fingers grew into bird like talons. She dug them into Fenris's chest and tore it open, exposing the strong, beating heart beneath the ribcage. Slipping her hand between the wolfs ribs, she grabbed ahold of his heart and tore it out, then grabbed Kamiras heart and stashed it where Fenris's had been just moments later. Using his power, the wolf reconnected everything and waited for the organ to start. It was a few minutes before it began to beat, slowly at first, then faster and faster until it eventually settled into an even, steady rhythm.

Kamira blinked a couple of times in shock. Her mind was trying to comprehend how she was still alive; at least, she felt alive even after having her heart torn out. Kamira had heard about people who had dillusions that they were still alive even when they were dead. In fact, she was almost positive that she was no longer living when she felt her surroundings somehow melt away. Perhaps a bit more could be explained if she had sight. Kamira wondered if she was now in some sort of underworld.

"Oh good, she's concious," Hel cooed. "Welcome to Yggdrasil and whatnot. Ugh...I really don't feel like giving her a tour." She paused for a moment in thought. "Oh Snugglemuffin!" she called. "Cuddlebear! Honeybunch!"

"I'll kill her," Yoko mumbled under his breath as he started to follow the sound of Hels voice. She wouldn't be too happy if he didn't respond. He knew that she knew he hated those names, which was why she did it.

Hel giggled as her rider appeared in the doorway, an uncharacteristic scowl on his face. "What?" he said stiffly, clearly not enjoying being in Hels presence. "You get to be the welcome wagon for your new playmate!" Hel exclaimed happily, clasping her hands together.

Yggdrasil? Kamira got even more confused at the name. So am I dead or am I not? She tried sitting up and found that she was able to, concluding that she was somehow impossibly alive. Better than alive even. She felt power that she was sure that she didn't have before flowing through her veins and could've sworn that her senses were sharpened to the point where she would be able to jump off of something tall and land on her feet. She stood up slowly, testing her reborn body out, when she felt another person enter the room. This one's scent was familiar, and she could place it. Wherever she was there was a Rebellion member here too. Kamira crouched for a second before lunging at the new person. It didn't matter to her that she had no sword or other weapon; her fists would be enough for this guy. From what she had seen of Yoko he was never much of a fighter.

Yoko dropped into a defensive crouch, below Kamiras fists. He rammed his shoulder into her abdomen, attempting to flip her over his shoulder. "I wouldn't do that if I were you," Hel said threateningly. "You'll be working with him Kamira," she added, knowing the girls name even though Fenris hadn't given it. "Actually, you'll be working under him for a bit until you get the hang of things," Fenris corrected, a little weakened from the transaction. "Let me explain things a little bit. You are know the Rider of Conquest. The man you just attacked is Yoko, the Rider of Pestilence. The third, whom you have yet to meet, is Krigon, Rider of War."

"Yeah, I knew his name," Kamira said with a head gesture to Yoko as she picked herself up off of the floor. "There are usually reasons why you don't put two enemies in a room together before they find out they're on the same side. Though I'm impressed fox, you seemed just like extra baggage when you were staying with those pathetic rebels. I never would have guessed that you knew how to fight."

((I don't mean to sound wenchy, but I don't think Kamira's ever seen Yoko, since he always stayed behind. Correct me if I'm wrong.))

Yoko didn't respond, since he wasn't one to let the comments of others get to him. He also knew not to 'feed the troll' as Akaelin used to put it. "Go show Kamira around the tree," Hel ordered. "I have a few things to discuss with Fenris. Shoo shoo." Yoko clenched his teeth as he fought down his anger. He wasn't normally the angry, violent type, but Hel had a habit of bringing that side of his personality out in him.

((I think perhaps it was during Bluewall >-< just thinking of that plot makes me cringe in horror))

"So big-ears, gonna show me around or not?" Kamira asked. Just because they were apparently on the same side now didn't mean that she had to be friendly to him. "Or do I have to go explore myself?"

Yoko clenched his teeth, resisting the urge to touch one of his ears. In his human form, their size was normally. He couldn't help that in fox form they were giant. He turned on his heel and walked out, trusting Kamira to follow the sound of his footsteps.

Kamira could do more than just follow the sound of Yoko's footsteps. Her senses had been heightened to a point that even the soft sound of his feet was enough for her to nearly make a radar-like picture of her surroundings. Whatsmore, she could feel a series of what felt like soft, short tugs that seemed to want to lead her in different directions. She had no idea what they were, but trusted that she would eventually be able to figure it out.

Yoko didn't bother to ask how Kamira got roped into all this. She seemed like the type who was easily manipulated, able to form no opinions for herself or even a will of her own. How sad. He really didn't feel like being the welcome wagon, but if Kamira managed to get herself lost, it would come back on him. "You're living in a giant tree," he said dryly. "There's a bunch of tunnels. You'll get used to them." The wing she would stay in would be in the upper most region of the world tree. He showed her to the rooms that would belong to her. "There's a bed in there, though sleep won't be needed. And don't snap at me, saying something like 'I can smell the cotton, of course I know there's a bed in there'. I don't read minds, so I don't know how well adept you are at being blind. Though I suppose I'll learn in time," he said, mumbling the last sentence under his breath. After this, he would have to show her where the horses were kept.

"Tunnels are perfect; it's doubtful I'll get lost." Kamira said with a smirk. Tunnels actually were perfect, because of nonstop vibrations within them she could navigate her way through them perfectly. All she would have to do is hang a small bell by a couple of key rooms for her to be able to find them better. Her senses really were improved, the sound of Yoko's voice when he spoke actually did allow her to complete her radar picture.

"Whatever works for you," Yoko mumbled in response, taking her down into the southern roots of the world tree, where the mounts were kept. The room was set up like a stable, with four stalls, two along each wall. His horse, Haldis - affectionately dubbed by Hel - was in the far left corner, with Death's future mount next to it. The far right corner held Krigons horse, with Kamiras to its left. Yoko tapped the stall that held Kamiras horse, then went to check in on his own. Haldis was horrificly thin, with a whispy excuse for a mane and almost no tail. She looked like she could barely hold herself up, but in truth, she was far swifter than any race horse.

Kamira ventured inside of the stall to look over her new horse, running a hand down its back to get a general feel of its build. She had absolutely no idea what color the horse was, but it had a good strong build from the feel of it. "A horse befitting a rider named Conquest," she mumbled to herself. Then she spoke to Yoko. "Hey fox, mind telling me what color this beast is? I'd like to name it." At least because she hadn't been blind her whole life she had an idea of what different colors looked like.

"It's (insert name of color you want here)," Yoko said after a quick glance in the horses direction. Haldis poked her head out of the stall, nudging her rider with her heavily whiskered nose. He patted the horses dirty white neck, scratching the spot just behind her left ear where she liked it.

((Well... Pestilence is a white rider, and so is conquest. War is supposed to be Red, but Krigon made her mount black. So basically, just pick a realistic color. XD))

"Hmm, a really light palomino, huh?" Kamira said, contemplating a number of names in her head. "I could just call you Conquest." At that the horse softly butted her with its head. "Guess not then. How about Horatio? All right all right, don't get your horseshoes in a bundle. How about Hamlet then?" The hose nickered softly. "Okay, Hamlet it is."

"You can take it out for a ride if you want," Yoko said, walking over and giving the door way that connected to the area a kick with his foot. Of course, he didn't think that Kamira would enjoy riding around in circles, but she wouldn't be allowed out on her own free will until Fenris taught her what she would need to know.

((perhaps I has read Hamlet a few too many times XD That makes two things people are riding from that are named after things in Hamlet))

"Nah, I'll take him out later," Kamira said. Perhaps she should go back to Fenris and learn a bit more about what exactly had happened to her and what her intended purpose was. It was easy enough to follow the way she came back to the area she had first appeared in the tree in.

((Do you mean Haldis? I just found the name on a baby names site. It was norse and meant weapon of the goddess, so I was like JACKPOT!! 8D))

Yoko shrugged, vaguely certain that Kamira could tell that he had done so. He grabbed Haldis's saddle off the rack, intent on staying. The mare was a bit unruly when she first got out of her stall, yet riding her was the only thing relaxing he found in Yggdrasil.

((Nope, I mean Leartes. Ophelia's brother who fought Hamlet in the last scene with a poisoned sword and eventually was killed too))

Kamira looked around from habit when she entered the room she had first appeared in even though it didn't do anything to improve her ability to sense the things in the room. She kicked the wall by the doorway to give her some more vibrations in the room to pinpoint Fenris.
