History: Syn is not his real name. It's a term the falcon's give to a child of 'poisoned' blood. Aka, falcon blood mixed with anything else. Syn's father was an Aplomado falcon, and his mother was a pit viper. His father stole a young Syn and his mother away from the island. Though Syn's mother wasn't even allowed on the island, it would only be a matter of time before the Empress found out about a half falcon child. As long as Syn never sets foot on the falcons island, or has any children, the Empress allows him to live.

His father returned to the island without his mother, and the pit viper left the child with a Wereserpent (red rat to be precise). The pit viper belived that if she got rid of the child, the falcon would come back to her. Sadly, that was not so. The elderly Shaiya (the red rat snake) raised Syn like her own grandson in Qu'darem, until she died of old age when Syn was old enough to care for himself.

Syn is also a cousin of Sayne. Used and abused by Nu'rae, he has a bit of a hard time when it comes to love. However, a certain blue haired werewolf seems to have taken a liking to him. His first language is one similar to Dutch, but he speaks English very well.
