A New Found Sanctuary

Kitai's eyes widened in horror at the very thought. "I can't kill him, Yoko!" she exclaimed. "He has a heartbeat! I couldn't kill him anymore than I could pick up a sword and run it through your chest." She was going to continue when her door was suddenly and unceremoniously kicked open. In the doorway stood Quill, who immediately strode up to Yoko and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt.

"You better be here to fix what you started," she growled.

Yokos expression remained calm and impassive as Quill grabbed him. "Fixing what I started would involve me either pushing Kitai down a flight of stairs, or running a sword through her," he pointed out. "And I really don't see myself doing either in the near future. So if you would be so kind as to release me, I'd be quite grateful," he said calmly, thinking that she - like Kitai - thought that he was really Rabbit. He could've always pointed that out, but then Quill more than likely would've replied with 'I don't care who you are, you knocked up my sister you son of a bitch' or something to that effect.

"I'm not talking about finishing killing her, so stop jumping to conclusions you stupid fox," Quill tightened her grip just in case he was Rabbit, though she doubted it. Kitai wouldn't be standing in such a relaxed way for anyone but Yoko. She didn't cringe away just from being around men anymore, but she wasn't totally relaxed either. "I'm talking about scaring her off the opposite sex for the rest of her life!"

"I wasn't talking about killing her either," Yoko replied, having a hard time keeping his voice level. If Quill wasn't so pigheaded, then she wouldn't be the one jumping to conclusions. Obviously what he had started was knocking Kitai up, and finishing it would be shoving her down a flight of stairs, or something to that effect. "I'd like to ask again, please let go of me." He really didn't want to use any sort of force in front of Kitai, for fear of frightening her again.

Quill's eyes narrowed at Yoko's request to let go of him. "I won't tell you exactly how it works since no doubt that pesky Mr. Cottontail is listening from inside your head, but I'm in a position where I could blow your head off before you so much as touch me." She did however, let go of his shirt. "By finishing what you started, I meant showing her what it's supposed to be like, you know what I'm talking about. You don't have anything to lose since she's already pregnant."

Yoko was borderlining a stereotypical dumb blonde, so he really wasn't quite sure what Quill was talking about. He was sure that Quill could blow his head off. Being Pestilence, he lacked things such as tremendous fighting skills and immense speed, and had to make up for it with strategy and more cunning than the remaining three riders combined. So while yes, Quill probably could kill him, but there was no way he wouldn't be able to take her down with him if he so chose.

It was then that a kind of light came on in Yokos mind, though his face still remained completely impassive. She couldn't be suggesting what he thought she was. Why would she think that Yoko would oblige, given Kitais current fragile mind set?

((This actually reminds me of this once scene from Night Pleasures. Kyrian (back in Greece) had been crucified, and gained this fear of being tied up against his will. So Amanda (his wuver) tied him up with these little silk rope things and attempted to have sex with him, but every time he strugged, she threated to stop, so eventually he learned to get over his fear.

"She's gone as far as she's going to get without further help," Quill insisted, more gently this time as her voice took on a slightly pleading tone. "The source of the problem boils down to you. If anyone else, even Birch, were to try it with her it would feel like rape all over again."

Yoko winced slightly when Quill mentioned that he was the source of the problem. "I won't do anything without Kitais consent," he pointed out. However, there were a few problems. One, it was getting late. The punishment he had recieved for allowing an enemy to escape Yggdrasil would be coming for him soon. Two, his physical body wasn't really in the best condition at the moment. While he could heal himself flawlessly, some wounds did have a tendency to scar. He had multiple ones on his torso over where each of his major organs would be, a starburst shaped one on the inside of either of his wrists, and as well as his ankles. When Hel had mentioned that he was in trouble for what he had done, she had meant it.

Quill noticed Yoko's wounds and sighed. "Then ask her," Quill said. "Tell her that you'll stop if she doesn't like it, except that your race is supposed to be natural-born sex gods so I doubt that. But if you can't do it now, come back some other time. And since Kitai doesn't want to give your kid up you need to plan out some names anyway."

((I meant multiple scars. XD I realize there was probably some confusion there. My fault.))

Yoko was slightly confused for a moment, then realized that Quill might've thought that he was Elain. The Elain didn't come in fox form, even if they did he wouldn't have been one, having come from a long line of wolves. No, he was just a typical werefox that never used his biped form. Still, his mother had been a prostitute, so he had to have learned something from her right?

But what the hell was he supposed to do? 'Hey Kitai, get your ass in bed and let me fuck you,'? Yeah, he didn't think that that would go over well. It wasn't too dark out, and they normally didn't come until later. "In order for anything to happen, you'll have to trust me long enough to leave," he said under his breath.

"If I trust you enough to put my sister's state of mental health in your hands, isn't it a given that I trust you enough to leave you with her?" Quill said, starting to walk towards the door to leave and then pausing at the doorway. "Since we're twins, it's likely that we have some of the same sensitive spots. See if you can't use the spot just under the end of her jawbone to get some hormones going." Then she left completely.

Yoko nodded to show Quill that he understood, then closed the door slowly. He cursed himself for not paying more attention to Kieran when he had been staying with Jan. He noticed that during the entire conversation, Kitai hadn't said a word. There was no denial, but no approval either. "You okay?" he asked, turning slowly back towards Kitai. "You haven't said anything for awhile."

Kitai nodded. "I'm okay," she said. The truth was that she was really nervous about what Quill had suggested to Yoko. Even in normal circumstances she would have found it hard to entrust her body completely to another person, but it was even harder after she had been raped. Then again, the two people that she trusted most in this world were probably Yoko and Quill. One of them had suggested the idea while the other would be the one that would do it. She had also seen the tenderness and worry in her sister's eyes; it took a lot to have her ask for something on the behalf of another person, so Kitai would try to put some faith in her decision.

((My muse isn't very horny at the moment, so forgive me if this post turns awkward. :3))

"Are you sure?" he asked, approaching her slowly. He still didn't want to frighten her. "Do you need to lay down?" he asked, reaching up to touch the spot that Quill had suggested. If Kitai relaxed a bit, perhaps he could try some different things with that spot later on. Still, he wasn't going to have a lot of time. The last thing he wanted was for them to come while he was in bed with the werewolf.

Kitai leaned into Yoko's touch, surprised at how much her body reacted at being rubbed there. "Sure, I'll lay down," she said, starting to make her way back to the bed before turning to look at Yoko. "But promise - promise that we can stop if I want to." Her mind immediately rejected the thought of spending time in bed with the body that had raped her, but she would see if it really was different like Quill said that it was.

Yoko sighed as he uttered three words he was so used to saying, it was almost robotic.

"As you wish."

Strange how when he uttered those words to Hel, they made him want to rip his own tongue out. Towards Kitai though, he didn't mind them so much. There was even a bit of meaning behind them, as if he actually didn't care about obeying her wishes.

((AND DEN HE FUCKED HER UP GOOD. SHE WAS ALL LIKE PANTING AND 'OH YEAH BABY RIGHT THERE THAT TEH SPOT. AND HE WAS ALL LIKE OH GOD YEAH AND DERE WAS LOTSA SWEAT AND MOANING THE END.

Kitai curled up against Yoko in the bed, feeling the best she had felt in the last couple weeks. The best, even, since the Rebellion's village had been destroyed. "That was different," she murmured contentedly as she pressed herself closer to Yoko. "Thank you."

Yoko didn't feel like he should be thanked. A part of him felt like he had just used Kitai. But now that he had done what Quill wanted him to do, he wouldn't be surprised if she came back to kill him and end the war on the spot.

There was a brief flash of light as three bird like creatures materialized into the room. Their bodies were human like, with bird talons on the ends of their toes, and large, pointy beaks on their faces. Beady black eyes scanned the room until they found their prey, their arms/wings flapping with glee. "Ohohoheeheheheee!" one giggled in a high pitched feminine tone. "We has looksies see! Prey be having fun time, yes. Now we has fun time with organsies!"

"Shit," Yoko cursed, the second time that day. He lept down from the bed and attempted to phase through the floor and back into Yggdrasil like Rabbit had done. However, his attempts held no success. As long as those bird women were around, he wouldn't be able to escape to a different realm. He quickly gathered up the sheet and wrapped it around Kitai. There would be no time for the werewolf to grab her clothes. She could come back in after he had lead the harpie like creatures away from sanctuary. Right now though, he needed to get Kitai out of the room. They wouldn't hurt her, since she wasn't their intended target, but if he wasn't able to get out and she got caught in the cross fire, they wouldn't care. He snapped his fingers, and his clothes materialzed onto his body. It was about the only finger snap trick he could do.

He opened the door just enough so Kitai could squeeze through and proceeded to shove her out. "I'll explain another day," he mumbled quickly, turning back to the three harpie women.

Kitai was too shocked to even scream as the bird-like things appeared and Yoko pushed her out of the room. She just fell back onto the floor and sat there with a dumbstruck look on her face. Her first reaction would normally to have been to get her sword and charge back into that room, clothes or no clothes. But she knew that there was probably a reason that Yoko had pushed her out to safety and truth was that she was too exhausted now to fight.

Yoko grunted as one of the bird ladies slammed him into the wall. "What you want?" she asked her companions. "Ohhehehehee! Me says we play double dutch with little intestines," one replied. "But there only one little intestine we be needin' two for double dutch you silly likkle thing."

"Den we tie biggie intestine to spinal cord. Dem are flexi like right?" the second one said. "No room for double dutch," the first one exclaimed, wrapping her large, clawed hand around Yokos throat, cutting off his air way. "We be going outsides now yes."

The second one shattered the window and flew out, while the second merely threw Yoko out the window. He landed on the ground with a thud, waiting for one of them to pick him back up again. This had happened every night to him since he had let Kitai out of Yggdrasil alive. At first, he had fought back and struggled, but it had always ended the same. At first, they just ripped out an organ and went on their way. By morning, he had painfully grown it back again. However, they had started playing games with him. A week ago, they had played baseball with a kidney and an arm bone. Now apparently, there were into jump rope.

Kitai heard the glass shatter and cautiously peered into the room, horrified when she saw evidence that they had probably gone out the window and was about to approach it to look out when a strong hand on her shoulder stopped her. "There are some things that you don't need to see," Quill said, holding her back. She was familiar with the severity of the punishments that some gods liked to dole out. She had actually been brought back to this world a couple weeks before she had gone to help the Rebellion fend off its attackers. In her first few days as Set's servant she had refused to obey him and in return he would send a pack of jackals to rip her apart every night. It was no surprise to her that Hel had given Yoko a similar punishment for letting Kitai escape.

As the first bird lady plunged her beak into Yokos abdomen, breaking a basketball sized hole into it, he asked himself once more if it had been worth it. If allowing Kitai to escape had been worth what he was going through now. Normally, he would've said yes, but now that she was carrying his child, he knew for sure what the answer would always be. It was worth it. He gritted his teeth as the harpie searched around with bird talon tipped fingers, looking for her jump rope. With glee, she started to pull out the intestine, while another one reached in their to fish out the second. He sort of wished, though, that they had torn out his spine first. At least then he wouldn't have been able to feel anything.

Once his intestines were out, the third rolled him over on to his side, using her beak to severe his spine at the base of his neck and back. In a similar fashion to the first two, she tore out his spine and handed it over to the first one, who tied his large intestine to one end. At least now the pain was gone. He might not be able to move, forced to watched their macabre, messed up version of double dutch with his innards, but he was at least at a bit of ease.

Kitai's ears swiveled forward to pick up the sounds coming from outside the window. She heard the sounds of tearing flesh and snapping bone as well as the cackling of those things that took Yoko. "What are they doing to him?" She asked.

"It's Hel's punishment for him disobeying her," Quill said. "The gods are not known to be kind in their punishments."

Kitai gasped in horror. "It's because he let me go, isn't it?!" She said. "It's because I told him that I wanted to go home that he's being punished like this!" Kitai couldn't stop a couple of tears from rolling down her cheek as she was forced to listen to the sounds of Yoko's punishment.

"Cinderellie, dressed in yelli, be goin' downstairs an kissin' a fellie! By mistaksie, she be kissin' a snakisie!"

Okay, if they were going to play jump rope with his intestines, they could at least say the rhymes right. Yoko felt a splintering feeling in his back as his spine began to regrow. Bones were always the worst, and the spine was one long ass series of bones. Finally, the harpie women got bored and flashed out the way they had came, leaving Yoko to lie there until at least his spine grew back and he was able to move again.

Quill immediately set on a course to try and distract Kitai from listening to the sounds of the creatures' fun. "How did you like it?" she asked her sister, referring the intimate time she had just spent with Yoko. "Because by the looks of you you obviously didn't stop him."

"I didn't know it could be like that," Kitai admitted, glad to have something to take her mind off the birdthings

"Well yeah, what did you think I was spending all that time with Birch for? To discuss the growing problem of explosions in the mosquito population?" Quill said with a smirk as she poked the hickey on her sister's jaw. "Just don't go nympho on me."
